/ Savor The Summit – A Party To Remember

If you weren’t around Main Street this past Saturday then you truly missed out on the paramount of what Park City and Mountain Town Music have to offer.  Savor the Summit is an annual event where local bistros and restaurants are able to showcase their food in an outdoor setting.  Last Saturday all throughout Main Street there were tables lining the streets, fully decked out with place settings, decor, and class to boot.  Being new to town, this was truly a spectacle for me – proving once again how vibrant the Park City community really is.

And, if the outdoor dinner party wasn’t enough, Mountain Town Music provided some phenomenal entertainment on an even cooler looking stage!  Backed up on Heber Avenue, three different bands played throughout the night.  Among these bands were the Dan Weldon Duo, Silver Spoon, and the infamous Pimps of Joytime.  As the night went on, the crowd grew in front of the stage and by the time the headlining-Pimps came on the crowd was in an all out boogie.

The Pimps of Joytime were a fun fusion between funk, electronica, and soul – bringing heavy bass driven rhythm and fun vocals.  These guys were seriously great!  Keep an eye out for more blog posts and keep supporting Mountain Town Music in its effort to bring live music to our great community!
