Jake Johnson is only 15 years old, but his diverse style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Jake was exposed to many musical instruments and genres. His stepfather is famed bassist, Hugh McDonald. Jake’s first foray into learning an instrument himself came when his grandfather gave him a bass at just 3 years old. Later he began to play guitar and has developed a style heavily influenced by blues, classic rock and soul.
