Flashback is a group of three local musicians who love to rock in a classical way, as
they’ve spent their musical lives weaving through the great American (and British) rock
canon. From Buffalo, NY comes drummer/ singer Jimmy Kaminsky, adding solid rock
muscle with a deft touch. Bassist Marc Friedman, a longtime Parkite, is a no nonsense
musician, heavily influenced by his former brother in law, Danny Federici of the E Street
Band. Rounding out this rock trio is Fred Buttrick, guitarist/ singer who’s played in and
out of Park City since arriving in Utah 30 years ago. You may have seen Fred and Marc
recently entertaining at the Wednesday’s Park City Farmer’s Market, working the crowd
with a varied repertoire of classic rock and roll favorites..
