Throughout the 2000s, Howrey slowly revived his live career as well. “It started out with me just playing solo acoustic gigs as the millennium started,” Howrey explains. “Then more and more buddies started showing up to jam. It’s to the point now where I have a full five-piece rock band version of Dr. Bob fully functioning, playing bar gigs and festivals steadily.”
